| My children and I have enjoyed using the Stratton House science kit. I like the fact that all the supplies we need are included in the kit and that there are questions (and answers) to use with the lessons. My kids like doing the hands-on activities. My seven year-old son's favorite lesson was creating artificial gravity. |
My favorite lesson was making a scale model of the distances between the planets. Since each step the children took represented 30 million miles, we could really see how large our solar system is. Another fun lesson was modeling the planet sizes. Even my 3 year-old still remembers what the four gas giants are.
